If you are calling a remote/cron script that needs this GLIBC you should probably do the export in the script itself to be sure. The export should be done in ~/.bashrc or /etc/profile to make it permanent otherwise programs will have unpredictable results. Open pichuan mentioned this issue May 4, 2018.

version GLIBC2.14 not found bazelbuild/bazel4374. install a newer version of Glibc (like 2.18) on the system. But using Miniconda, I directly install using conda install tensorflow and it works. Mkdir ~/glibc_install cd ~/glibc_installĮxport LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/glibc-2.14/lib I had the same problem when I installed TesnsorFlow using pip in CentOS 6.7 cluster. the mssql server is installed and works fine. i did the procedure before on other server before how ever for this one i could not able to install mssql-tools. CentOS 6 and its minor releases are EOL at the end of November of this year so it's best to replace that system with. If you are using 2.14 to compile something then you'll need to set the path to its libraries in your compile options.
HOW TO INSTALL GLIBC 2.14 ON CENTOS UPGRADE
apt-get install libc6 will need to be used to install the new candidate version. The answers to the other question are to install 2.14 alongside alongside 2.12, not to upgrade to it. With libc6, you can find out whether the installed or the candidate version is present, but the installed version can also be viewed with ldd version.
HOW TO INSTALL GLIBC 2.14 ON CENTOS UPDATE
You can't remove the old glibc since the whole OS is based on it but you can install the updated glibc alongside it and do an export pointing to your updated GLIBC. i want to install mssql-server in the centos 7 server. Inform the database with apt-get update by typing it into the command prompt.

Centos 6 requires GLIBC 2.12 however a lot of new programs you would want to compile may need a newer glibc. We had a box with Centos 6 here too, it is possible to install a newer version of Glibc (at least 2.14)and you need a custom built setup but it turned out to be.
